About Dr. Valerio: A decorated military officer and accomplished surgeon, Dr. Ian Valerio is an Associate Professor of Clinical Plastic Surgery and Chief of the Division of Burn, Wound, and Trauma at the OSU Department of Plastic Surgery. Board-certified in plastic surgery, Dr. Valerio’s research and specialty interests include advanced regenerative medicine applications to the wounded warrior and in trauma care, peripheral nerve repair/restoration techniques, microsurgery, and other reconstruction strategies.
